A view of Milners tower from over the cosy nook cafe side of the beach. Built in 1871 by the people of Port Erin to honour William Milner a Liverpool safemaker (thats why it's shaped liked a lock), the tower was to be a surprise for Milner, but when he found out he donated a lot of the building costs himself.
