A view of Sky hill to the west of Ramsey, the scene of the battle of Sky hill in 1079AD. The Battle was fought between the Manx and a norse army lead by Godred Crovan (King Orry as he was to be known), it was Crovan's third and successfull attempt to overthrow the Manx and rule the Isle of Man.
