Steve Hislop is another of my TT heroes, i was lucky enough to watch the 1992 senior TT race between Carl Fogarty and Hizzy, absolutely brilliant racing by both riders in what many say is the greatest race ever to have taken place on the TT course.
Steve was killed in a helicopter crash on the 30th July 2003 in his native Scotland, this statue in Onchan (where he lived on the island) is the same as a statue in his home town of Hawick.
